Con xin kính chào quý ông bà và anh chị em,
Con là Phê-rô Nguyễn Doãn Khôi, dòng Thừa Sai Thánh Tâm (MSC), thuộc tỉnh dòng Úc Châu. Con được sinh ra và lớn lên tại Việt Nam, đoàn tụ cùng gia đình tại Ức Châu năm 2005. Định cư tại Úc, con được học lại Phổ Thông (High School) và Đại Học tại Sydney (University of Technology, Sydney). Lúc con đang vừa học vừa làm việc thì được Chúa gọi làm linh mục. Năm 2010 con xin nhập dòng Thừa Sai Thánh Tâm, khấn dòng năm 2012 và được chịu chức tháng 9, 2018, tại Sydney.
Năm 2019 cho đến nay con được nhà dòng bổ nhiệm làm cha giáo tiền tập và tập viện. Hiện nay con đang sống tại Blackburn trong cộng đoàn đào tạo, giảng dạy tại trung tâm Heart of Life và làm mục vụ đồng hành thiêng liêng và mục vụ cho giáo sĩ và người dân.
Ngoài những cộng việc này, con còn được cộng đoàn St Timothy,
Vermont, mời đến giúp các thánh lễ hằng tháng và các bí tích. Con được biết đến cộng đoàn từ năm 2013 lúc cộng đoàn mới được chuyển về St Timothy này từ Box Hill. Qua nhiều năm thân thiết với cộng đoàn thì giờ đây cộng đoàn là niềm vui và gia đình đối với con. Con hy vọng cộng đoàn sẽ mãi giữ được tinh thần yêu thương và gia đình từ lúc mới thành lập.

My name is Peter Khoi Doan Nguyen, a Missionary of the Sacred Heart
(MSC), Australian Province. I was born and grew up in Vietnam, and
finally migrated to Australia in 2005 as family reunion. Since settled here,
I had an opportunity to go back to High School and study at University of
Technology, Sydney. While studying and working, I had a call from God to
become a priest. In 2010, I applied to join the MSC, professed my vows in
2012, and was ordained a priest in September 2018 in Sydney. Since 2019
until now, I have been appointed as formator, director of pre-novitiate
then director of novitiate. Now I am living at Blackburn, our formation
community, doing the ministries of accompaniment (spiritual direction
and pastoral supervision for religious and all people) and teaching at
Heart of Life Spirituality Centre.
Apart from this, I have the priviledge to assist the Vietnamese Community
St Timothy, Vermont, for monthly mass and other sacraments when
needed. I have known the community since 2013 when it was first moved
to St Timothy from Box Hill. Over many years being close to the
community, St Tim’s Vietnamese Community has become a family and a
joy for me every time when I come. I hope and continue to pray that the
community will keep this spirit of fondness and family as when first
established.
